Request for Hardware Grant for Squad Staking

About Me:
NodeBridge Africa is the first fast-growing African community dedicated to educating, supporting, and empowering Africans in running Ethereum nodes. Our mission is to make Ethereum truly decentralized by bridging the gap between technical knowledge and everyday users, particularly in African communities. We have organized numerous workshops and built a network that includes tech communities, universities, and node operator enthusiasts across Africa. NodeBridge fosters a collaborative environment where participants can learn, grow, and take an active role in Ethereum staking, particularly through innovative tools like Obol’s Distributed Validator Technology (DVT).

Why I’m Requesting a Grant:
To further our mission of inclusion and decentralization. By leveraging these credits, we aim to run squad staking operations with our community members, using Obol DVT. This initiative will allow participants to gain hands-on experience, learn the complexities of DVT node operation, and prepare them for running nodes on the Ethereum mainnet. This grant will break down the financial and technical barriers to entry, empowering our fast-growing African node operator community. Ultimately, this effort will lead to a more decentralized Ethereum network, with trained ambassadors ready to support others in their local communities.

Additional Information:
The hardware grant will allow us to scale our educational efforts by enabling participants to set up DVT nodes and receive delegated ETH on the mainnet. We plan to use this opportunity to create a strong network of ambassadors across Africa who will continue to promote Ethereum staking and decentralization within their communities. This initiative will not only foster inclusion but also provide African participants with the knowledge and practical experience needed to sustain and grow a decentralized future.
