To maintain transparency and uphold the integrity of our governance processes, all Delegates are subject to the Delegates Rules of Engagement. These guidelines include strict measures to prevent self-dealing and manage conflicts of interest. Key stipulations are as follows:
- Delegates must avoid conflicts of interest whenever possible and mitigate their impact when unavoidable.
- Any potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed prominently and in writing before voting.
- Delegates must abstain from voting on matters that may result in direct or indirect financial gain.
- Private voting must not be used to obscure self-dealing.
The Association may conduct random ballot reviews after RAF Rounds to ensure compliance. Reported violations will trigger an investigation into the delegate’s ballot.
These measures align with our broader commitment to ethical governance, as outlined in the Code of Conduct and the 1% for Decentralisation initiative.
Disclosure Requirements
All conflicts of interest must be disclosed in the thread below before voting in RAF1. Failure to comply may result in enforcement actions.
