About Me:
College DAO is the largest and fastest-growing university blockchain network at over 100+ universities worldwide. We involve the higher education ecosystem with frontier technologies through talent pipelines, startup funding, research projects, student engagement and infrastructure development.
In the past year, College DAO has achieved several notable milestones, including:
- Leading the first and largest university Twitter Tour with 28 clubs and a total reach of 14.6k across 15 Twitter/X spaces.
- Co-organizing the first university-based Schelling Point .edu in Asia with OKX and Gitcoin.
- Hosting a joint global hackerhouse at Devconnect Istanbul with top university students.
- Publishing a College DAO article on BanklessDAO.
- $300,000 USD in total hackathon prize winnings from students
- Providing 250 free student club tickets for TOKEN2049 & Consensus 2023.
- Representing students in Coinbase’s Stand With Crypto with lawmakers in Congress.
Why I’m Requesting a Grant:
College DAO is highly aligned with contributing to the decentralization of the Ethereum validator landscape, and are looking to drive adoption and innovation especially when it comes to decentralized validator technologies. We are a global network, but also a bootstrapped one, and a grant would help us kickstart our
Distributed validators is an increasingly critical part of scaling and growing Ethereum, so we would love to have a voice and direct stake in its upkeep and innovation. We do not have the financial resources to fund our own hardware, so a grant would be instrumental for our participation in Squad Staking.
