Introduction

gm, I’m Ariel!

I’m passionate about Ethereum research, MEV, cryptoeconomics, and security. I’m currently learning to code in JavaScript and Solidity. I’m fluent in Spanish and English, have an A2 level in German, and I’m currently studying French. In my free time, I enjoy playing chess, practicing calisthenics, running, and climbing mountains.

Delegation Statement

I see the Obol Collective as a group of people and organizations working toward a shared goal, create a sustainable, censorship resistance and broadly decentralized consensus layer for Ethereum. The Obol Collective aim to empower individuals worldwide to help to secure the network through different initiatives and grow a stronger infinite Garden.

I want to be a delegate because I want to help to strength the security, resiliency and decentralization of Ethereum by contributing to bring more Home Stakers to the playfield. Over the past year, I’ve taken part in several DVT testnets (including Operation Solo Staker) and earned Base and Bronze Techne credentials to improve my skills as a Home Staker.

For me, being a delegate in the Obol Collective feels like a natural next step to keep contributing to Ethereum’s future.

Voting Cycle #1

Proposal: OIP-1: Building and Enabling Staking for the OBOL Token

Vote: Voted in favor

I voted in favor of this proposal because I believe staking is one of the most powerful incentive tools in the ecosystem. For the Obol Collective, it represents a new mechanism to align goals across various stakeholders. Also, after seeing the active participation of different delegates and the Obol team, I felt more confident in approving this proposal.

Proposal: OIP-2: Unlocking the OBOL Token

Vote: Voted in favor

I voted in favor of this proposal because it unlocks market dynamics that will help gather valuable data and refine incentive structures over time. Enabling OBOL transferability increases DeFi participation (as outlined in OIP #1), strengthens incentives, and invites a broader, more diverse group of participants into governance.

Voting Cycle #2

Proposal: OIP-3: Obol Collective 2025 Goals

Vote: Voted in favor

I voted in favor of this proposal because I believe that having clear objectives will allow stakers, delegates, team, investors and other stakeholders to have a North Star. If we all know where we are going, progress and milestones in the collective will be easily achieved.
