Thanks @ogbobby for reminding of the rules.
This proposal will be disregarded if posted as such.
1. Delegate Approval Requirement Not Met
As per the governance process outlined in the docs, any proposal must receive explicit public approval from at least 4 delegates within the top 100 by voting power before it can be considered for voting.
To be clear:
- These approvals must be posted publicly on the forum, under the draft thread.
- So far, no top 100 delegate has formally approved this proposal in this thread.
- That means the count currently stands at 0 out of 4, not 4 out of 4 as previously suggested.
If you’re unsure whether a delegate qualifies, please refer to the current voting power leaderboard available via our docs or request clarification from the governance team.
2. Voting Cycle Rules Are Not Being Followed
We have structured voting cycles to bring predictability and fairness to the process. These cycles are clearly laid out in the documentation and include:
- Defined submission windows
- Weekly review and feedback stages
- A formal vote period in Week 3
The next valid window to submit a proposal for voting opens on June 3.
Posting outside of these cycles will lead to automatic disqualification, regardless of the outcome of any vote.
For reference, we post a Voting Cycle Roundup thread at the beginning of each cycle to help contributors prepare and align with the process. You can also subscribe to the public calendar here.
Final Note
If this proposal is submitted without meeting the requirements above, it will be disregarded, no matter the result of the vote.
That would also mark the second instance of this proposal topic bypassing due process—something that would be a bad precedent.
We welcome continued discussion, but proposals must follow the legitimate, transparent process agreed upon by the community.
