# Proposal Template

The Obol Collective encourages proposers to include the following sections for proposals:

**Proposal Title:** _What is the name of your proposal?_

**Status:** `[Draft]` / `[Final]`

**Proposal Type:** `[Type]` _Governance proposals must correspond to a valid proposal type as described in the official documentation._

**Abstract:** _Two or three sentences that summarize the proposal._

**Motivation:** _Explain why the Obol Collective should implement this proposal. Please disclose any actual or anticipated conflicts of interest that you (as an individual, group, or entity) may have concerning this proposal._

**Specifications:** _Detail the specifics of the proposal. Please include: Technical details (a comprehensive description of the proposed changes)._

_If applicable, please include:_

- _Links to all APIs/ tech specifications_
- _Overview of ongoing security considerations, including all audits and findings_
- _Impact summary (a comprehensive description of the consequences of adopting the proposed changes).If applicable, please include:_
  - _Changes in performance characteristics_
  - _Time-of-upgrade considerations (downtime, etc.)_
  - _Links to exhaustive upgrade documentation for impacted stakeholders_

**Action Plan:** _Outline how the proposal would be implemented. If applicable, please include:_

- _Expected timing for implementation/upgrade/execution._
- _Contingency plans to address potential last-minute bugs or issues._
- _Plans for communication and education for the community._

**Conclusion:** _Wrap up your proposal._

_Please include:_

- _Recap of main points_
- _Request for approval_
